![]() ![]() This opens the door for players to earn new cars and upgrades across more than 140 global circuits. Project CARS 3 will offer more to the solo driver than any of its predecessors, adding in an all-new Career Mode. And on Tuesday, the series' third installment was announced, with Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios revealing Project CARS 3. Then users poured in over $5 million in donations and Project CARS has since grown into a full-fledged racing franchise. I’d restart the router and PS4 then you’re good to go.There used to be a day where Project CARS was nothing more than a Kickstarter idea. Set DMZ to on and select the PS4 by IP address and save setting. On the BT router go to advanced settings > Firewall > Port Forwarding > Configuration Gateway and Primary DNS as per previous settings for BT both 192.168.1.254 So select your IP address (making sure it’s not already assigned) So for manual setup on PS4 you select your IP address within your routers IP range: All you have to do is set the PS4 with a static IP address which requires a manual network setup and then put that IP address as a DMZ on the router. It’s really simple and doesn’t require port forwarding. The approach also work with Virgin Media’s Superhub 3.0. "I finally managed to get RSDash working with BT Smarthub 6. So I guess the VPN must have had an effect on the network settings somehow?"Ī big thanks to Peter for providing this information for the BT/Virgin Media routers I uninstalled NordVPN, restarted the machine and now it works. ![]() I’m have Nord VPN on my pc but wasn’t connected to it, although I had used it in-between the days of using RS-Rash and for some reason in my networks list NordLynx was listed as connected. ![]() I got a friend to help me setup port forwarding on my router settings however, this didn’t appear to have any effect, even after restarting the router. Thanks to Steve for this one (UDP telemetry from PC to mobile phone had stopped working for him) VPN software may interfere with UDP telemetry. See the general troubleshooting section here for additional troubleshooting tips Please ensure you have read the "IMPORTANT" notice in the Project CARS 3 - Interface Setup (UDP) section above, regarding telemetry lag. You also need to set your Project CARS 3 UDP Frequency to 4. Try enabling the "Legacy NetCode" option in RS Dash v1.9p (or newer). Verify that your wireless devices are connected using the same Wifi frequency (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz) as your gaming machine if that is also connected wirelessly. Verify that your device is connected to the same Wifi network as your gaming machine. Lag issues can sometimes be resolved by slowing down the UDP rate, try using UDP 4 if you are experiencing telemetry lag to see if that helps. PC users experiencing issues can switch to shared memory mode to resolve this issue.Įnsure that you have followed the steps above to configure the interface correctly. If you are experiencing lag issues, please check your router settings and try disabling settings such as "UDP Flood Protection", "DOS (Denial of Service) Protection", "Multicast Flood Protection" or similarly named. This will result in telemetry lag or possibly even no telemetry feed at all (in rare cases). This means it will work with multiple devices by default, however please be aware that some Android devices and some wifi routers will have trouble processing the telemetry when it is sent this way. IMPORTANT: Project CARS 3 only supports outputting its UDP telemetry as a network broadcast. Once it is resolved we will endeavour to include support for this protocol option and these instructions will be updated to include the new option. A bug report has been filed with Slightly Mad Studios for this issue. Note: RS Dash currently uses the "Project CARS 1" UDP protocol as the newer "Project Cars 2" UDP protocol currently contains a bug (as of PC3 release) that prevents it from being usable by RS Dash.
